Well, well, well.

I guess it is now my turn to write
these letters. They tell me that it
comes with the job. I think maybe
we can start a random drawing to
see who gets to write the next one.
Sure sounds like a plan to me.

Speaking of plans, you know the
old saying, “The best laid
plan……”, the plans can’t be laid
with out the ideas. We need your
ideas and suggestions in order to
keep things fresh at the Lodge. We
have had a few good ideas come
out of the suggestion box already,
but are constantly looking for
more. I think that most of you see
the same faces doing the same
things around here all the time and
you might ask why. Well because
we are all volunteers working to
make the Lodge a better place for
every one to enjoy. We need new
and fresh ideas and energetic
people to spice things up a little. If
you haven’t got my point yet,
“PLEASE VOLUNTEER AND HELP
OUT WHEN YOU CAN !”.

I guess I should get off my soap box
and move on to a different subject.
How about a big thanks to all of last
years board members and
volunteers. Rob and Darlys did a
great job of running the show last
year, be sure to give them a thanks
and a pat on the back next time you
see them. Thanks guys !!!!

We do have a lot of great new and
old things happening around the
Lodge through out the month.
There are lots of poker
opportunities, the good old Moose
races, and the very popular
karaoke to take part in. Check out
the schedule of events to find dates
and times of all our events.

Hello Moose Members,
      It’s almost that time again...you know...when the sun actually shines enough
to dry the web between our toes!
      I want to thank all who participated in the Dessert Auction...from Bakers to
Bidders, and especially our Auctioneer and volunteers. This is truly a group
effort and we had a lot of fun raising tax dollars.
      Hey Guys!...Don’t forget every Friday after dinner we have karaoke. Bring
your friends and show them how much fun you can have at the “Moose”.
      We now have a small menu of snack food available in the lounge (pizzas, hot
dogs, burritos), in addition to the kitchen being open Wed, Thur, and Fri. Come
and check it out. Something for everyone...every week.
      Friday, May 30 we will be having a 3 ball tournament in the pool room.
Starts at 7:00 pm. Snacks and door prizes for the participants.
      Friday, June 13 we are having a special Father’s Day Dinner. There will be
“Dad” door prizes, special “Dad” raffles, and “Dessert for Dad”. So bring the
family to the lodge and celebrate our favorite guy…Dad!
      We have a summer special for June, July, and August. It’s the “Draft Beer
Roll-off”. When you order a draft beer, you will roll one die for your price. Draft
beer is $2.00. Roll a 5 or 6 and your price is $1.75, 3 or 4 and your price is
$1.50, a 2 and your price is $1.25. Roll a 1 and your price is $2. Good luck!

Hello,

I am honored to be the new Senior
Regent. I look forward to another
great year at the Lodge. I would like
to give a BIG thank you to Darlys
Provolt and Rob Peters for a
wonderful job as last years Senior
Regent and Governor. I would also
like to thank the Women and Men
Board members for all their hard
work and time put in to make our
Lodge run smoothly.

On that note, it is members like you
that make our Lodge successful as
well. I would like thank all of you for
being supportive and participating in
the Lodge activities. If you would like
to help volunteer, we have a sign up
board next to the ATM to allow you to
sign up to help out with activities and
dinners.   We also have a suggestion
box for you to have input on what
you would like to see going on at the
Lodge.

Remember we are doing Tacos on
Thursdays during Moose Races.
They are served from 5:30-7:00 and
the cost is 2 for $1.00.   Also, mark
your calendar for Friday, June 13th.
We will be having a Father’s Day
Dinner (replacing the Father’s day
breakfast), Live Moose Races, and
Karaoke.
