Hey out there in Moose Land…
Well, the tree’s put away, and the wrapping is in the trash...maybe things can
get back to some semblance of normalcy...at least until next year! Hope everyone
had a wonderful Christmas and New Year.
The lodge is starting off the year with some really fun events. We’ve got
everything from Crabs to Chili, so check out the calendar, and/or the ads
elsewhere in this newsletter.
If you’d like to throw your name into the bag to become an officer...we’ll be
working on that in February. Talk to one of the officers at the lodge, and they’ll be
happy to point you in the right direction.
Kudos to the WOTM for their Purse Auction and PJ Drive. Both successes!
Also, a big thanks to those who donated bikes for Big Bros/Sis...I’m sure that made
Christmas happier for six needy kids.
The Hall Rental is still only $150.00 (plus the refundable deposit). Come on in
and book your event! Deposit must be paid to secure a date.
Moose International has waived the enrollment fee beginning January 1, and
running until April 30. That means it’s $20 cheaper to become a Moose Member.
Plus...sponsor two members during the year and get your next year’s dues paid!
What a deal! Membership sign ups have been almost nonexistent, so please take
advantage of this.

Hello everyone,
I hope all of you had a great
holiday!
I would like to give a big thanks to
Darlys & Debbie for the hard work the
did again on our Purse Auction. It was
a great success...and to all of you that
donated a purse, it’s just great! The
money we made went to our Kids
Christmas Party, PJ Drive, and
Community Food Baskets.
Also, I would like to thanks
everyone who donated PJs and money
for our PJ Drive. We had over 60 pairs
of PJs to give to the Women’s Shelter,
which is just fantastic. Hope all of you
have a great New Year!

finds you all well.
We have some fun events coming
up at the lodge in the next couple of
months. Check your calendar for the
dates of our Crab Feed, Chili Cook-
Off, Bingo, and Moose Races.
Remember...the 2nd & 4th Tuesday we
also have Texas Hold’em. It definitely
draws in the people, and the bingo
pots go up (we recently had a blackout
for over $100!
Don’t forget us for your party
location. We recently lowered the cost
of the hall to $150...it’s a steal!!!
If you know someone who hasn’t
visited the lodge, please bring them
in. Sponsoring two members will pay
your next year’s dues! Take care and
